TYPES OF FLANGES
Weld Neck Flange
The Weld Neck Flange is a highly sought-after connection that is widely recognized for its neck extension and weld bevel structure, making it a perfect fit for large and high-pressure applications.
Slip-On Flange
A Slip On Flange is a practical option to consider in lieu of a Weld Neck flange. It has been specifically engineered to accommodate the pipe in its center/bore, which enables seamless welding around the outer diameter of the pipe.
Socket Weld Flange
The Socket Weld flanges are often referred to as Counter Bore flanges. They are designed with a socket to accommodate the insertion of the pipe when the Weld Neck flanges cannot be used due to space limitations.
Threaded Flange
Threaded or Companion Flanges simplify maintenance and enable secure connections in piping systems. They are versatile components that can be used with different piping materials.
Blind Flange
Blind Flanges are primarily used to end a pipeline without an internal diameter. However, they can be customized by adding NPT threads or bore holes to function as Slip On flanges. This modification allows them to connect to pipes or equipment in a hubless fashion.
Lap Joint Flange
Lap Joint Flanges are designed to be functional by placing them over a stub end fitting. These flanges are engineered with an extended hub and have a machined radius at the base of the flat face to ensure maximum efficiency.
